DokanEasy and Doob both target Bangladesh merchants, but their public positioning suggests different starting points. The key question is whether the seller owns stock and brand operations, wants a ready reseller catalogue, or needs explicit COD-risk tools.
Doob’s published offer
Doob’s pricing page lists Starter at Tk390 a month for 300 monthly orders, a custom domain, local couriers, COD, bKash/Nagad, 500 own products and 300 reseller products. Growth is listed at Tk990 with 1,000 orders, POS on two devices, automated COD fraud checks and 300 national fraud checks per month.
Its Business plan is shown at Tk2,290 with unlimited storefronts, staff and POS devices plus 20,000 national fraud checks per month. Doob’s homepage also emphasizes adding wholesale products without holding stock. These can be meaningful strengths for resellers and multi-outlet operators.
DokanEasy’s different emphasis
DokanEasy is positioned as a hosted store system for merchants building their own catalogue and brand, with local payment, courier, inventory, POS and growth tools across its plans. Its free entry tier can help a new seller validate a small catalogue before paying, but plan limits and required integrations should be checked against current pricing.
Doob may be preferable when a wholesale/reseller catalogue or published fraud-check allowance is central. DokanEasy may fit a merchant prioritising an own-brand storefront and a gradual free-to-paid path. Neither positioning proves better delivery, support response or conversion rate.
Questions that expose the real difference
Ask who is responsible for supplier quality, stock accuracy, warranty, returns and customer complaints for reseller products. Confirm whether fraud checks are advisory or blocking, how false positives are appealed, and what customer data is shared.
For owned inventory, test variants, purchase cost, stock adjustment history, partial fulfilment and courier settlement. For reselling, place a sample order to measure packaging, invoice branding and return responsibility.
Practical choice
Create the same 20-product catalogue and process ten controlled orders on each shortlisted platform. Compare time spent, failed delivery risk, export quality and monthly cost—not just the advertised feature count. See DokanEasy’s current plans before deciding.
Scope: public claims reviewed on 23 October 2026. Doob prices and allowances can change; DokanEasy should verify any feature critical to your operation in a live demonstration.
