DokanEasy vs Shopstick: Ecommerce Store or Full Retail Operations Suite?

Shopstick’s published position

Shopstick presents itself as an all-in-one business-management platform. Its official site lists ecommerce, POS, purchasing and supplier management, accounting reports, HR/payroll, sales-representative route management, SMS automation and business reporting. This breadth may suit a physical retailer, distributor or field-sales team that wants more than a storefront.

Its ecommerce-builder page lists a 7-day trial, local payment and delivery integrations, custom domains, themes, SEO and SMS. At review time it advertised Tk 499 monthly or Tk 4,799 yearly after a displayed discount. Promotional prices and coupon terms can change, so verify the checkout total and renewal price.

DokanEasy’s published position

DokanEasy centers on launching and running a Bangladesh online store. Its free plan advertises 50 products, 100 monthly orders, subdomain/SSL, COD and personal bKash/Nagad. For a new online-only seller, the larger published free catalog and free-order allowance can provide a lower-risk validation route. For an established shop needing payroll, supplier balances or field-sales routes, Shopstick’s wider suite may reduce separate systems. Neither observation proves better reliability, support or sales.

The comparison most sellers miss

Ask whether each record has one source of truth. When a physical sale occurs, does online stock update? Can a returned courier parcel restore inventory without overstating revenue? Are supplier purchases and customer refunds separated? Does staff permission prevent a cashier from exporting all customer data?

Also compare export formats, API access, backup practice, invoice customization, VAT/tax fields, barcode hardware compatibility and the exact courier actions available. A marketing page saying “integration” does not reveal whether booking, tracking, cancellation and remittance reconciliation are all supported.

Run a controlled trial

Create 15 SKUs with variants and opening stock. Process one online COD order, one prepaid order, one counter sale, one partial return and one supplier restock. Reconcile closing stock, cash, courier receivable and profit. Time every correction; software that requires frequent manual repair creates hidden cost.

Model annual cost using the undiscounted renewal rate unless the vendor confirms otherwise. Include hardware, SMS, payment fees, domain, onboarding and data migration. Ask both vendors for a written answer to every must-have requirement.

Bottom line

DokanEasy is the clearer ecommerce-first validation option from its published free limits. Shopstick’s strength is broader retail and workforce operations. Choose according to the business you operate now, then preserve SKU and customer records so the choice remains reversible.
