A government service portal can reduce the effort of finding approvals, but it does not make every online business identical. An incorporated retailer, a home-based producer and a regulated-product importer may need different processes. BanglaBiz is useful to understand as a route into business services, not as a promise that one registration replaces every obligation.
What was launched, and when
BIDA’s announcement dated 1 February 2026 says BIDA and JICA launched BanglaBiz’s second phase. It describes a Business Starter Package combining name clearance, temporary bank-account opening, incorporation, e-TIN and trade-license applications, alongside integrated approvals and a Know Your Approvals tool. The first information-portal version was released on 28 September 2025.
The announcement presents a three-working-day registration objective for the package. That is not a verified completion time for your application. It also said a broader unified-gateway designation was expected to be gazetted; the release alone does not prove that subsequent legal step occurred. The portal was accessible, but live account-level application processing was not tested in this review.
Define the business before selecting the service
Write a short description of your legal form, ownership, operating location, products and activities. Distinguish manufacturing from trading and importing from domestic sourcing. This helps you ask the right authority which approvals apply. A store’s marketing description may be broad, while an application needs a precise and consistent activity description.
Use the service’s own eligibility and document requirements rather than a copied social-media checklist. If the business is not forming a company, do not assume the incorporation-oriented starter route is the correct one. Seek official guidance where the activity or legal form is unclear, especially for goods subject to additional controls.
Prepare a controlled application record
Create a document register with the requested item, issuing authority, validity, owner and submission date. Keep the business name, address and ownership information consistent across the records. Submit only through a verified official channel and retain the acknowledgement and application number. An application being accepted is not the same as an approval being issued.
Budget for confirmed fees and the time needed to resolve queries. If a service is described as integrated, check whether the portal completes it directly or directs you to an agency system. Do not pay an intermediary on the basis of a guaranteed approval or a screenshot claiming privileged access. Follow the official fee and support process.
Connect approvals with store operations responsibly
Once the relevant approval is issued, record any renewal or reporting requirements stated by the authority. Keep ownership and account access organized so the business is not dependent on one person’s inbox. Do not display an application receipt as a completed license, or use a portal identifier as a general endorsement of product quality.
A storefront such as DokanEasy can support selling and order management, but it does not determine statutory eligibility or replace government approval. Use BanglaBiz’s launched services as a starting point, confirm the business-specific route and keep a clear distinction between a published service objective and the decision on your actual application.
