A shop with 30 products of its own needs a different comparison from a reseller testing five items. The relevant question is whether the entry package supports that catalog and the intended workflow. This guide uses a 30-product physical-goods shop as an explicit scenario, without treating either provider’s internal multi-tenant architecture as independently verified.
What the published entry offers say
On Zatiq Easy’s pricing page, Free lists 20 products split into 10 own products and 10 resell products, with a 5% fee for own physical products. Starter is listed at BDT 599 per month, with 500 products and 0% fees for own physical products. Its comparison lists unlimited orders. Digital and reseller fees differ, so do not generalize the physical-product rate.
DokanEasy advertises 50 products, 100 monthly orders and a 0% platform transaction fee on Free. For the specific 30-own-product scenario, that allowance is a reason to test DokanEasy first. It is not a claim of unlimited operation. Zatiq’s paid entry price and catalog allowance may be attractive once a merchant wants a paid package.
Catalog slots are only the first test
Prepare 30 real product records, including photos, descriptions and available variants. Ask how each provider counts variants against product limits, what happens to an item with no stock and whether a hidden draft consumes a slot. Those details can change the apparent capacity. Do not infer answers from a pricing card that only states a product count.
Build the same three difficult items in each test account: one with several sizes, one with a sale price and one with a detailed specification. Review them on a phone. Check whether the selected variant, price and stock agree at checkout. A package that holds all records still needs to represent the products accurately.
Compare cost only within a valid plan
Do not calculate a 30-own-product shop’s costs on a free allowance that covers only 10 own products. First select a plan that fits, then compare subscription, applicable fees, payment processing, delivery and optional tools. Likewise, do not recommend DokanEasy Free for a shop whose order volume exceeds its published allowance without checking upgrade terms.
Zatiq’s published reseller offering deserves separate evaluation if sourcing from suppliers is central to the business. This article does not establish that DokanEasy provides an equivalent reseller network. For a merchant selling stock already owned, supplier resale may be less important than accurate variants, exportable records and reliable order handling.
Run a short acceptance checklist
Place one test order with two variants, reduce stock, cancel it and inspect the restored quantities. Check the receipt, customer contact details and delivery charge. Ask how order and product data can be exported, whether a custom domain needs a paid tier and who supports a failed payment or courier connection. Record answers in writing rather than relying on a sales demonstration alone.
Choose DokanEasy when its verified allowance and tested workflow fit your small owned-stock catalog. Consider Zatiq Starter when its paid features, higher catalog ceiling or supplier model suit your needs better. Our Bangladesh store-builder overview provides a wider shortlist.
